VxL was originally formed in 1999. At that time, specializing in international investigations, VxL's clients included companies such as Oakley and CBS Television. Additionally, VxL aggressively pursued pro-bono investigations in support of missing and exploited children, the collective efforts of which resulted in the reuniting and or repatriotization of 45 children from throughout the world.

After 9/11, the company was placed into stasis while the owners and many of our employees deployed to Afghanistan and Iraq. Since the companies return, the structure and pursuits have changed significantly, but the principals upon which we were founded have remained the same.
